​News | Singapore Chinese literature goes outside the classroom – a summary about the end of literature magazine “Why Not”

​Five NTU students from the Chinese Programme set up a literature club and magazine in 2012, encouraged by Assoc Prof Quah Sy Ren who told them to find a broader audience for the magazine “Why Not”. In this article, three of the students, who had since graduated, wrote about their journey in publishing seven issues of the magazine. While they will no longer publish new editions, the literature club will still continue its activities to promote local literature.
