After the opening ceremony and keynote speech at the Zaobao Literary Festival on 27 May, the participating local and foreign writers visited the Singapore Flyer and had dinner. The main organiser Lianhe Zaobao, co-organiser NTU Chinese programme and supporting organiser International Chinese Culture Exchange Federation hosted the welcome dinner for the guests.
