​News | Language Elective Programme’s literature talk at NTU – Appreciating movies and looking at youth idealism in contemporary China

​The Chinese Language Elective Programme for pre-university students held literature talks at NTU this year. The keynote speaker was Asst Prof Ting Chun Chun from the NTU Chinese Programme, who spoke about "Coming of Age in Modern China". She encouraged the students to develop critical thinking and to analyse the meaning of the movies from different viewpoints.
