​News | Chua Chim Kang takes over chairman position of the Promote Mandarin Council

Seow Choke Meng stepped down as the chairman of the Promote Mandarin Council after seven years. He is replaced by Chua Chim Kang. The council consists of 19 members, of which 11 members are new to the council. Liang Wern Fook, an adjunct professor from NTU’s Chinese Studies division is one of the newly appointed members. With the other 19 members’ expertise and strengths, Chua and the council hope to promote Mandarin to new heights.
