Lianhe Zaobao published the speech delivered by Chew Cheng Hai, an NUS adjunct professor, at NTU Chinese Heritage Centre, on 7 Sep. Chew wrote that the Centre for Chinese Language and Culture had been set up in NTU in 1994 and he was responsible for the development of the centre, together with Yun Wei Li (transliteration). Chew outlined the achievements and research done by the centre over the years.
