​In a column, NTU Assoc Prof I Lo-fen reminisced her encounter with her teacher Ke Qingming, who recently passed away. When Ke taught her, his teaching style was like a wild horse running loose, which was engaging but difficult for his students to take notes. When Assoc Prof I was the head of the Chinese Programme at NTU in 2014 and the programme was celebrating its 10th anniversary, Ke was one of the international advisors for the programme and had written a congratulatory note for the anniversary.
