Processing multiple specimen and performing serial cuts can result in high section numbers. The Leica CM3050 S cryostat is designed to help with exactly these time-consuming jobs.
The low working height and available knee space of the Leica CM3050 S cryostat allow the user to work comfortably while sitting. Motorized drive and section counter improve productivity for multiple serial sections.
Particularly when working with delicate specimens, e.g. brain samples, the precise specimen orientation and the specimen feed system provide for reproducible sections.
