So far, so good
By Anne Loh, Editor, The LKCMedicine
Every year at this time, we receive reports from the field written by LKCMedicine student volunteers as they return from their Overseas Community Involvement Projects in the region. It’s an opportune time to look at this student-led initiative which has become part of the fabric of the student experience at the School for the past six years. Through partnerships with NGOs, healthcare institutions and universities, the students steered by LKCMedSoc have managed to build sustainability into these mostly annual outings, making sure that they don’t just feel good contributing, but also do good and the outcomes will be here for good.
We also check out the exciting research on the MagicBook app by A/Prof Eric Yap and Asst Prof Sreenivasulu Reddy Mogali involving Augmented and Virtual Reality and 3D printing technologies that will revolutionise anatomy learning very soon!
Don’t miss the latest news and happenings as well. Happy reading!
