As part of Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH)'s 175th Founder's Day celebrations, a Central Health art mural was launched at HealthCity Link on 25 July.

The 24-metre long art mural reflects the healthcare landscape of Central Singapore. Representatives from the greater healthcare community, the Tan Family and HealthCity Novena partners – including LKCMedicine – placed an icon of the organisation that they belong to on the art mural.

The representatives are from HealthCity Novena, St Luke's Eldercare, NTUC Health, Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, TSAO Foundation, TTSH-Integrated Care Hub, Ren Ci Hospital, National Neuroscience Institute, TTSH, National Centre for Infectious Diseases, National Skin Centre & National Healthcare Group (NHG), Asian Women's Welfare Association, Thye Hua Kwan, TOUCH Community Services and National Healthcare Group Polyclinics.

The event kicked off with a welcome address by Dr Eugene Fidelis Soh, Chief Executive Officer of TTSH & Central Health. In his welcome address, Dr Soh described the launch as a "small kampong (village in Malay) gathering".

"We are gathering our partners across the Central Singapore as well as here in HealthCity Novena to celebrate this special day with all of us and we want to do that because this hospital was founded 175 years by the community for the community." He added, "And because of that we hope that this celebration for 175 years of care, can be our way of giving back to the community".

Dr Soh and Professor Philip Choo, Central Health Board Committee Member and Group Chief Executive Officer of NHG were the first representatives to stick an icon of the Central Health Logo. The other HealthCity Novena partners later followed suit. For LKCMedicine, the School's Dean Professor James Best pasted the School's Novena Campus icon on the art mural. NHG is LKCMedicine's primary clinical partner.

A HealthCity Novena Coffee Table Book was also launched at the event. In closing, a lunch reception was held for all guests.
