Entry Requirements

​Successful applicants will need a good first degree (preferably 1st class honours and at least upper 2nd class, or international equivalent) in a relevant field. Applicants with a Lower Second Class honours degree may be considered if they also have a Master’s degree.

  1. ​​Choose a PhD project from the list of PhD Project Proposals​
  2. Prepare a one-page project proposal
  3. Prepare supporting documen​ts as stated here, under "How to Apply". 
  4. Prepare CV and a cover letter (Please upload both documents when submitting the online application)
​How to applyTo apply for the project "The effect of age and risk of falling on walking: A holistic approach to human movement analysis," please submit an online application via the NIE application portal.

To apply for all other projects, please submit your online application via the NTU admissions portal.
​​When to apply​Application for the programme is currently closed

The application and all supporting/additional documents (including referees’ letters) must be completed and submitted by the closing date. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
