Thammasat Undergraduate Business Challenge (TUBC) 

Name of the competition: Thammasat Undergraduate Business Challenge (TUBC)

About the competition: This is an international business case competition that brings together undergraduate students from various top international business schools around the world. The competition is hosted annually by the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (International Program) of Thammasat Business School. It is highly recognised internationally among the business communities and is one of the longest running competitions globally. This year is its 28th year of anniversary and the competition is held in Bangkok. The case is written based on the real-world situation of a selected business and will be provided to the teams to analyse and provide solutions and recommendations which will then be presented to a panel of industry judges.

Product/Proposal: The team was given two cases, one is a 5-hour case and the other is a 24-hour case. The first 5-hour case is by Lazada and focuses on innovating new features to capture premium Thai shoppers and the second 24-hour case is by STECON Group (constructions firm) and looks at improving profitability and expanding into new markets.
