Congratulations to Sabrina Ip (Class of 2019) for being awarded a scholarship for admission to Stanford University PhD programme!​

My four years in CEE have been immensely fulfilling. I had a great learning experience and am grateful for the effort the lecturers put in to impart both content knowledge and life skills. I am also thankful for the support from CEE to conduct undergraduate research.

I had the chance to undertake two URECA projects, as well as an FYP-URECA. Under the guidance of Professor Harianto Rahardjo and his team, I had the opportunity to experience doing geotechnical engineering research. My experiences in his lab inspired me to pursue graduate studies.

I was admitted directly to the PhD program in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Stanford University under Professor Ronaldo Borja, with two years of CEE-PhD Fellowship.
