Community Engagement at CEE

Engineering is ultimately about improving lives — and at CEE, students are encouraged to apply their skills beyond the classroom to make a meaningful difference. Through a range of initiatives, students engage with real communities, gaining a deeper understanding of societal needs while developing empathy, responsibility, and a broader perspective on the role of engineering in everyday life.

Overseas Community Engagement Projects (OCEP)

Through OCEP, students work with communities in the region on meaningful initiatives — from infrastructure improvements to educational outreach. These immersive experiences challenge students to adapt, collaborate, and design solutions in unfamiliar environments, creating lasting impact for both the communities and the students themselves.

“The trip has inspired me to give back more to those that need it.”
