Applications for the upcoming cohort (April 2026) are now open. Scholarships are available for exceptional candidates – apply early for priority consideration.

Admission Requirements

1. Minimum ten years of work experience with at least five years in a leadership capacity*
2. Undergraduate degree*
3. Complete fluency in English, both oral and written
4. TOEFL score > 100 IBT or IELTS score > 6.5, if English was not the medium of instruction used at the undergraduate level​

* Candidates without an undergraduate degree or ten years of work experience but outstanding career accomplishments will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applying to the Nanyang EMBA 

The application process is designed to be clear and manageable, typically completed in 2–3 focused sittings. We encourage you to start early and submit promptly to ensure timely consideration for scholarships and admission. 

1. Create Your Online Profile

  • Apply via our [online application portal]. You may use the same login to track your application status after submission. 
  • Your application should reflect: 
    • Strong intellectual capability 
    • Career progression and achievements 
    • Leadership potential 
  • Essay questions are compulsory – express your thoughts clearly and stay within the word limit. 

2. Prepare and Upload Supporting Documents

Ensure all documents are submitted through the portal: 

  • CV/Resume – Highlight your responsibilities and achievements 
  • Educational Documents – Degree certificate(s) and transcripts (with official English translations if needed)
  • Passport Photo – Recent (within 3 months), high-resolution, colour JPEG
  • Passport or NRIC – Valid scanned copy (Singaporeans/PRs may submit NRIC)
  • TOEFL/IELTS Score – Required if English was not your tertiary instruction language
  • Referee Details – Nominate two professional referees – preferably your supervisors or senior leaders. Referees will receive a link their email to complete the online referee report. 
    References from family or friends will not be accepted. 
  • Professional Membership Certificates (if applicable) 

3. Submit Application & Fee

  • Complete and submit your application. 
  • Pay a non-refundable application fee of S$200 via VISA or Mastercard. 

4. Interview Shortlist

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview via email. 
  • All admissions interviews are recorded as part of the selection process. 

5. Final Selection

  • The Admissions Committee conducts a holistic review of each completed application, including interview performance. 
  • Admission is offered to candidates who demonstrate outstanding leadership potential, professional accomplishments, and alignment with the programme’s values. 

6. Acceptance of Offer

  • Admitted candidates must accept the offer within the stated deadline. 
  • A non-refundable enrolment fee of S$22,000 (inclusive of GST) is required to secure your place. This amount is deductible from the total tuition fees. 

 

 

Fees

The programme’s tuition fee is S$126,000 before prevailing government taxes. It covers tuition, most teaching materials and meals when classes are in session. Classes could be hybrid, face-to-face or online sessions. The fee does not include accommodation or travel-related expenses.

The application fee is S$200. An enrolment fee of S$22,000 is payable upon acceptance of offer and this will be deductible from the full tuition fee. Both the application fee and enrolment are non-refundable.  

Flight, accommodation and miscellaneous expenses are not inclusive in the tuition fees. These are regarded as additional costs associated with the programmes. The estimates below are approximate but can differ depending on the individual candidate. 

Residential Segment in USA
Flight, accommodation, and miscellaneous costs are estimated to be around S$12,000-S$15,000.

Residential Segment in China
Flight, accommodation, and miscellaneous costs are estimated to be around S$5,000-S$8,000.

 

 

Scholarships & Grants

At Nanyang Business School, part of the globally ranked NTU Singapore, we are committed to supporting exceptional leaders who aspire to elevate their impact. Prestigious partial scholarships are awarded based on merit, leadership potential, and alignment with the values of the Nanyang EMBA. 

Applicants interested in scholarship consideration should indicate their interest within the online application form and complete the required scholarship essay. 

We encourage early application, as scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis and competition is keen. 

NTU Innovation Leader Scholarship
Rooted in NTU’s legacy of excellence in technology and innovation, this scholarship is reserved for forward-thinking leaders who have demonstrated a strong track record of innovation—either as pioneers in the tech space or as change-makers within their sectors. 

Transformative Leader Scholarship 
Awarded to senior professionals who have led transformational initiatives or driven significant change within their organisations or industries, exemplifying visionary leadership and strategic impact. 

Women in Leadership Scholarship 
In recognition of the growing influence of women in business and society, this scholarship is awarded to outstanding female professionals who have demonstrated a commitment to leadership and are poised to make significant contributions during and beyond the EMBA journey. 

Diversity Scholarship 
Awarded to individuals who bring unique perspectives to the Nanyang EMBA classroom – whether through underrepresented nationalities, industries, or professional backgrounds – this scholarship reflects our belief that diversity enriches every learning experience. 

Global Citizen Scholarship 
This scholarship supports mobile, globally attuned leaders with professional or personal experiences across multiple countries. Applicants must have lived and/or worked in at least two different countries, each for a minimum of one year. 

ASEAN Development Scholarship 
Open to nationals of ASEAN member states (excluding Singapore), this scholarship is designed to support leaders who are actively contributing to the growth and progress of their countries and the broader ASEAN community. Applicants must show strong career progression and a clear commitment to advancing development in the region.
(Singapore citizens, permanent residents, and recipients of other scholarships or bursaries are not eligible.) 

NTU Alumni Grant 
In recognition of our alumni’s continued commitment to learning, graduates of NTU undergraduate or postgraduate programmes are eligible for a one-time grant of 10% off tuition fees (before prevailing GST). This grant is applied strictly to tuition fees and does not extend to other programme-related costs. 

Nanyang EMBA Referral Grant
We value the strength of our alumni network and the trust our graduates place in the programme. New participants referred by a Nanyang EMBA alumni or current participant are eligible for a one-time grant of 10% off tuition fees (before prevailing GST). This grant applies strictly to tuition fees and does not cover other programme-related costs.

Corporate Sponsorship & Support 
Corporate sponsorship can be a key enabler of your EMBA journey. We encourage prospective candidates to engage their organisations early to explore support options—whether in the form of full or partial sponsorship, or flexible learning arrangements.

SkillsFuture Credit (Singapore Citizens Only) 
The Nanyang Executive MBA is an approved course under the SkillsFuture Credit framework. 

  • All Singaporeans aged 25 and above are eligible for an initial credit of S$500. 
  • A one-time top-up of $500 was provided to those aged between 40-60 years (inclusive) in 2020. 
  • Singaporeans aged 40 and above will receive an additional top-up of S$4,000 under the SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme , effective from May 2024.
