Prof William Chen speaking on Agritech at Times Higher Education Asia Universities Summit 2025 in Macau

NTU Singapore participated in the Times Higher Education Asia Universities Summit 2025 in Macau in April.

University leadership, including President Prof Ho Teck Hua and Vice President (International Engagement) Prof Lee Pooi See shared NTU’s vision as a global leading university and experience in industry partnerships at the event, among many eminent leaders from Asian universities.

Prof William Chen, a Cluster Lead in Food Safety and Nutrition at NTU Food Research Systems, participated in the session ‘Agritech: Innovating food security in emerging economies’. Prof Chen shared NTU's experience in developing food tech innovations to enhance current food systems, while facilitating the development of urban solutions, including alternative food sources.
