NTU‑FRS Hosts Christmas Luncheon to Celebrate Our Collective 2025 Journey in NTU Food Research

NTU Food Research Systems (NTU‑FRS) welcomed faculty, students, postdocs, and research staff to a festive Christmas Luncheon on 02 December 2025, celebrating the community’s collective progress in food research.

The event opened with welcome remarks and a year‑in‑review update by Prof Ernst Kuipers and Prof Lim Kah Leong, followed by a “Food for Thought” segment led by GroGrace and Nestlé. Participants then gathered for an informal lunch huddle, fostering cross‑community exchange and conversation, with a Joyful Draw rounding off the afternoon.

Attendees also heard from invited speakers who shared perspectives on building food resilience, including integrated indoor farming solutions and innovations shaping food for future consumers.

NTU‑FRS extends heartfelt appreciation to all members of the community for their contributions throughout 2025 and looks forward to strengthening collaborative efforts in the year ahead.
