Assoc Prof Ma Wei was invited to present at the 2025 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Plant Lipids at Pomona, California, and at the University of California San Diego (USCD). On both occasions, he delivered a talk titled “From Seed to Funiculus: New Perspectives on the Gene Regulation of Seed Oil Biosynthesis and Seed Loading".

Assoc Prof Ma’s travel was funded by the NTU Global Research Excellence Award for Travel (GREAT).
