Prof Patricia Conway, Visiting Professor from SCELSE, participated at the ASEAN Sustainable Agriculture & Food Security Forum 2024’s Plenary Session on Food Security and the Circular Economy, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The session examined how circular economy principles can enhance food security by reducing waste, improving resource efficiency, and building more sustainable food supply chains. Discussions highlighted the potential of urban farming when integrated with circular systems, fostering resilience, environmental sustainability, and community well-being.
