Nanyang Research Conference on Synthetic Chemistry and Catalysis 2020

 

 

Held from 15 to 17 January 2020 at the Nanyang Executive Centre, the conference was jointly organised by the Institute of Advanced Studies, the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and the Singapore National Institute of Chemistry. It brought together industrial and academic chemists from all over the world to discuss the state-of-the-art development in synthetic chemistry and catalysis.

The scientific program comprised plenary lectures by two Nobel laureates, Prof Ryoji Noyori and Prof Ben Feringa, 12 keynote lectures, and 17 invited lectures as well as 80 poster presentations by PhD students, postdocs and young researchers. Close to 200 attended the conference held at the Nanyang Executive Centre. There were also 8 exhibitor booths at the conference. Among them were Royal Society of Chemistry, Wiley-VCH and Waters Pacific Pte Ltd.
