Deep Learning Week is MLDA@EEE’s annual flagship event, hosting a variety of events over a week to raise awareness and foster greater interest in machine learning/deep learning within the NTU community.

Highlights of Deep Learning Week 2020

We are honored to have the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister-in-Charge of the Smart Nation Initiative, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan as our Guest of Honour to launch Deep Learning Week 2020.

We have also invited 6 esteemed AI leaders in Singapore for a panel discussion on 'How AI Will Transform the Post-COVID World'.

Deep Learning Week 2020 in Numbers

In 2020, the panel discussion garnered interest from more than 1200 participants, and over 1000 AI practitioners developed DL skills through our workshop series. 

As a part of Deep Learning Week 2020, We also organized our very own hackathon with the topic centered around "AI in Business and Economics" with nearly 70 students who proposed AI-driven solutions through our hackathon.
