This programme provides rigorous training in the use of state-of-the-art instrumentation, artificial intelligence, and nanotechnology in chemistry, as well as soft skills such as scientific communication and teamwork. It is suitable for recent graduates from chemistry-oriented Bachelors’ degree programmes, as well as working professionals in the energy, chemicals, and related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or other related majors, with at least 2nd upper class honours or its equivalent.
- For graduates of universities with non-English medium of instruction, a good TOEFL score (iBT ≥ 92, PBT ≥ 600, CBT ≥ 240) or IELTS score (≥ 6.5).
- Good GRE or GMAT score – preferred but not required.
- Two or more years of relevant working experience – preferred but not required.
Applicants who do not fulfill the above requirements can appeal if they have at least two years of working experience in a relevant chemical industry and a letter of support from their company, or other suitable qualifications. These appeals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
