Calling Early Career Female Scientists to join us at GLOW 2025, the GLObal Conference for Women Leaders and Emerging Researchers in Materials Science, the annual conference hosted by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore from 29 September to 1 October 2025 as we celebrate the achievements of women in materials science and chart a course for further empowerment. Dedicated to exploring the opportunities for women in Science & Engineering, NTU Singapore proudly hosts many annual events. This unique conference aims to shine a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of women leaders while providing a platform for emerging researchers to showcase their talents and form meaningful connections within the field.

Participants will explore the latest advancements and emerging trends in materials science, spanning:

  •  Future Electronics / Nanomaterials
  •  Healthcare
  •  Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence
  •  Sustainability and Energy

The event will feature talks by eminent women leaders in Materials Science, a series of talks by young scientists from different parts of the world, as well as poster sessions and networking opportunities for students and young scientists. Join us at GLOW 2025 on the beautiful campus of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore to power together diversity and innovation for a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

GLOW2025_call for Submission

 

 

Travel Award

 

To attract more female scientists in early career (from final year of PhD candidature up to 8 years after PhD) in academia, GLOW will provide financial support to the selected candidates for this conference. Apart from attending the conference for free, each award recipient will get some travel expenses support and also 4-night accommodation fully covered by GLOW. Each awardee will also be sharing her research through an oral presentation. Download the Travel Award application form and submit the required documents together with your abstract.
