The WiEST Symposium is an inspiring platform celebrating the achievements of women in Engineering, Science, and Technology, while showcasing groundbreaking innovations!

Since its inaugural edition in 2014 (on Marie Curieโ€™s birthday ๐ŸŽ‰), WiEST has brought together leading researchers and practitioners, featuring renowned speakers like Ada Yonath (Nobel Laureate in Chemistry 2009), Frances Arnold (Nobel Laureate in Chemistry 2018), Jo Handelsman (Director, Wisconsin Institute for Discovery), Joan Rose (Stockholm Water Prize 2016), and Yael Kalai (ACM Prize in Computing 2022).

In 2021, WiEST proudly launched the POWERS programme with President Halimah Yacob, empowering women in STEM with a vision to enhance gender diversity in these critical fields.

The partnerships with NTU, NRF Global Youth Scientist Summit, Society of Women Engineers Singapore, and United Women Singapore amplify our efforts to reach and inspire communities.
