Congratulations to Nano Sun Pte Ltd (and Prof Darren Sun) for receiving the Best Innovation Award and Emerging Enterprise Award 2021

 

Nano Sun Pte Ltd received the Best Innovation Award, an accolade presented to firms that seek creative solutions to persistent problems, innovate to carve out new markets for themselves, or embrace technology to transform their businesses.

Nano Sun Pte Ltd also received the Emerging Enterprise Award, which recognises emerging enterprises that demonstrate an enterprising mindset.  These are businesses that drive consistent, significant and sustainable growth, resulting in excellent business performance; and display the ability to scale and expand overseas.

The awards were presented by the Guest of Honour, Ms Low Yen Ling - Minister of State (MOS) for Trade and Industry and she mentioned Nanosun in her opening speech as follows:

Nano Sun is a Singapore-based membrane manufacturing company which offers a wide range of multifunctional nano composite membranes for removing micropollutants from drinking water, water reuse and desalination pre-treatment. On the back of over 20 years of research experience in the multifunctional nano composite membrane and water industry, Nano Sun continues to enhance its offerings by adopting automation and new technology. For example, with 3D printing, Nano Sun is able to develop membranes that treat an average wastewater plant in just four days.”
