Biography

Prof. Gad Frankel obtained his PhD in Genetics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed his postdoctoral training at Stanford University. After a brief period as a group leader at the Weizmann Institute, he joined Imperial College London as a Research Assistant. In 1998, he was appointed Lecturer in the Department of Life Sciences at Imperial, promoted to Reader in 2000, and subsequently to Full Professor in 2002. He currently holds the position of Professor of Molecular Pathogenesis at Imperial College London.
