Publishing at the Royal Society of Chemistry – Tips from the Editors

Biography
Dr Hannah Kerr has worked at the Royal Society of Chemistry in the publishing department for 8 years. She is currently a Deputy Editor, working on open access materials journals (RSC Applied Interfaces, RSC Applied Polymers, Materials Advances, and Nanoscale Advances), and has previously worked on other well-known RSC journals like Nanoscale and Journal of Materials Chemistry. Prior to editorial work, she conducted a PhD at Durham University in the UK on NMR crystallography, utilising solid-state NMR, XRD and computational chemistry to elucidate the structure and dynamics of pharmaceutically relevant materials. She enjoys travelling, playing the violin, and spending time with her husband and dog.
