ADM Visiting Scholar Application Procedures and Related Charges
1. Find a Host Faculty
- Candidates must first find a faculty member in ADM willing to host them.
2. Initial Justification and Review
- The hosting faculty will submit a justification email explaining the candidate's potential research contribution.
- Thereafter, the ADM Chair will review the candidate's CV, portfolio and relevance to the faculty's research.
3. Approval and Forms Collection
- Upon receiving in-principle approval from the Chair, the faculty member will collect the necessary forms from the ADM Research Office:
- Training Employment Pass (TEP) form (Ministry of Manpower)
- NTU training programme description
- Form A (for applicant) and Form B (for hosting faculty)
4. Cost Disclosure
- At this point, the applicant will be informed of all associated costs, which include:
- MOM application fee
- ADM overhead charges
- Housing, insurance, medical check-up costs
- Living expenses in Singapore
5. Invitation and Form Completion
- Following payment advice, the faculty will issue a Letter of Invitation, subject to the Chair's approval.
- Form A will then be sent to the applicant with a reminder that they are responsible for all costs.
6. Document Submission
- The applicant will complete all forms and submits required documents, including certified English translations if needed.
7. Processing and Approval
- MOM typically takes several months to process the application.
- Upon approval, MOM will confirm the duration and validity of the stay.
8. Final Coordination
- Finally, the applicant is required to coordinate with the ADM Research Office to finalise all entry procedures.

- Issuance Fee: S$225
- Multiple Journey Visa (if applicable): S$30

2. ADM Administrative Overhead
- Monthly Fee: S$500
Fee Adjustments: Applies for stays longer than six months

- Full payment due within seven days of reporting to NTU.
- Fees are non-refundable.
