ADM Senior Lecturer Ben Slater curates Classics at Capitol, bringing restored cinematic masterpieces back to the big screen at the historic Capitol Theatre.

Running 22 Feb to 28 Apr 2026, the programme features iconic films including Singin’ in the Rain, Lawrence of Arabia and North by Northwest. The titles were carefully selected by Slater to be experienced the way they were meant to be seen on a grand cinema screen.

The series marks the return of regular film screenings at Capitol Theatre and invites audiences to rediscover the shared magic of cinema in Singapore’s last surviving pre-war “picture palace.”
