Books
The ADM Library collection of over 11,000 volumes covers a rapidly growing and evolving discipline in visual art, architecture, drawing, design, illustration, painting and photography. It includes reference materials, artists’ books, exhibition catalogues, production formats (of plays and cinema), animation guidebooks and design catalogues.

The Reserve Book (RBR) Collection
Core reading materials stipulated in course lists are located in the RBR section of the library.
These materials are loaned out to ADM students for the maximum of two hours and they have to be checked out at the Loan Counter.

Periodicals:
The ADM Library subscribes to over 100 periodicals, covering all aspects of the school’s curriculum in media, film, animation, design and art. Hence, providing core materials for undergraduate and future postgraduate courses.

Audio-Visual Materials (A/V):
A comprehensive and growing range of video cassettes, audio cassettes, VCDs, DVDs, audio CDs, and music CDs, except for the “restricted” and “non-circulating” A/V materials are available on the open
shelves in the A/V section of the Library. These are available for loan to faculty members, graduate students and NTU staff.

Undergraduate students have access to individual and group viewing facilities (i.e. viewing carrels and cinema room) in the library.

Information Services including reference services:
The ADM library encourages their users to browse their library collection whether in search of a personal interest or selecting materials for a research paper or project.

ADM Library staff is also at hand to assist users in their research process.

Instructional Services
The ADM Library also provides instructional services for students and staff introducing the different
art-related online databases.

Library e-resources:
Staff and students can access the Library’s e-resources such as subscribed databases, e-books and
e-journals anytime and anywhere from the library homepage as long as they have access to the internet.

The Library has 6 Library Catalogue stations, 10 networked PCs for users to access e-journals, databases and other electronic resources, 10 individual viewing carrels with10 multi-media PCs for viewing A/V titles and a sound proof mini cinema room.

Books, journals, A/V, and other library resources could be searched using the  Library Catalogue.

Printing & Photocopying:
Printing and photocopying, including colour copying services are available. This service is provided by an external vendor.

Wireless Access:
The Library is equipped with wireless access to facilitate users with laptops to use the on-line facilities and services.

The Study Area:
This area of the library provides large spacious tables and comfortable chairs to facilitate the ADM students for their project work either individually or in groups.
