We are proud to announce that Prof James P Tam has been named as a Fellow of the Singapore National Academy of Science (May 2018) and awarded the Josef Rudinger Memorial Lecture Award (Aug 2018).

 

The Singapore National Academy of Science Fellowship

SNAS fellows are outstanding scientists who are working or have worked in Singapore.  They are expected to advise and/or contribute to the government and other national organizations on various aspects of science including research, teaching, science policy; promotion and public communication of science, etc. You can find out more about the SNAS Fellowship here.

 The Josef Rudinger Memorial Lecture Award

 

The Josef RudingerMemorial Lecture Award is presented biennially, during the European PeptideSymposium, in commemoration of Josef Rudinger’s rolein the foundation of the European Peptide Symposia and of diverse contributionshe made to peptide chemistry.

 

It ‎is the highest award given bythe European Peptide Society to a scientist whose body of work has madeoutstanding and diverse contributions to peptide sciences. Professor Tam wasawarded for his long standing and invaluable contributions to the field ofPeptide Research at the 35thEuropean Peptide Symposium, which took place on 26 - 31 August 2018 at theDublin City University in Dublin, Ireland.
