SC3DP Showcases Pioneering 3D Printing Research at Global Conferences

Dr. Mehmet and SC3DP Team

The Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) showcased its research excellence on the global stage at the AMC Additive Manufacturing Conference in Türkiye. Our team formed by research fellows Dr. Mehmet Cagirici and Dr. Evangelos Daskalakis, together with research associate Alpravinosh Alagesan delivered three oral presentations that highlighted SC3DP’s pioneering work in sustainability and advanced additive manufacturing processes on metallic alloys and bio-materials.

Building on the momentum of the conference, Dr. Cagirici and Dr. Daskalakis were also invited to the workshop organized by the International Hellenic University, led by Professor Dimitrios Tzetzis, where they presented SC3DP’s research activities and discussed opportunities for joint initiatives. These international engagements not only strengthened our centre’s visibility and reputation but also laid the groundwork for upcoming collaborative projects with global partners, reinforcing SC3DP’s role as a leader in shaping the future of 3D printing.
