Research Collaboration Agreement with Leistritz

On 23 June, SC3DP was pleased to host a distinguished delegation from Leistritz AG, a global leader in extrusion technology and precision engineering. The visitors included Mr Michael Everts (Group CEO), Mr Eddie Tan (Managing Director, Leistritz SEA), Mr Joachim Ihrcke (Senior Advisor to Leistritz), Ms Jerin Ng, Mr William Loh, Mr Lucas Tay and Mr Steven Ho. The visit marked the signing of a Research Collaboration Agreement focused on the joint development of novel extruder systems for advanced additive manufacturing and bioprinting applications. This partnership combines Leistritz's expertise in extrusion technology with SC3DP's advanced research capabilities to accelerate innovation in high-performance 3D printing solutions.

During their visit, the Leistritz’s delegation toured SC3DP’s advanced laboratories, gaining insights into ongoing projects in additive manufacturing, materials development, and bioprinting. We look forward to building a lasting partnership that will drive innovation in additive manufacturing and deliver impactful solutions for industry. Earlier, in May, Mr Sebastian Fraas, Director of Process Technology & Innovation at Leistritz Extrusion Technology, visited SC3DP to explore emerging developments in manufacturing technologies and innovation, and to discuss the key research areas underpinning the Research Collaboration Agreement.
