Technical University of Munich (TUM) Asia visits SC3DP

On 5 June, SC3DP hosted a group of students from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Asia, providing them with an overview of the Centre's research capabilities and impact across the aerospace, building and construction, marine and offshore, and biomedical sectors. During the session, Professor Paulo Bartolo introduced SC3DP's multidisciplinary research, highlighting its role as a leading research centre in additive manufacturing and its close collaborations with industry and academic partners. Technical demonstrations were conducted by SC3DP research fellows; Dr Shubham on High Speed Directed Energy Depositions, Mr Alpravinosh on laser powder bed fusion, Mr Aniol Bosh on volumetric printing and Dr Mehmet on hybrid manufacturing.
