TCT Award 2026 Finalist - LAPIS

 

The TCT Awards is an annual celebration recognising outstanding innovations and applications of 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies from around the world. This year, “LAPIS: Hybrid Metal Additive Manufacturing” is one of the finalists. This technology, which enables the fabrication of high-precision multi-material metal components combining additive and subtractive processes has been developed by Nanyang Assistant Professor Lai Changquan and his team at the Singapore Centre for 3D Printing. The technology was also presented at Formnext 2025, drawing attention from both the public and industry professionals.
