Seminar on Nozzle Based Additive Manufacturing @ AML

Nozzle Seminar in NTU Lecture Hall

On 19 June 2025, SC3DP hosted a seminar led by Professor Eleonora Ferraris from KU Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven), Belgium. She shared her team’s research on Hot Material Extrusion (MEX) and Aerosol Jet Printing (AJP). In AJP, the team pioneered collagen printing and the development of 3D bioelectrical interface. Their work includes innovations in Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), such as a patented nozzle and adaptive printing strategies for tissue engineering. The seminar also highlighted KU Leuven’s additive manufacturing landscape and the Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory’s (AML) breakthroughs in materials, processes, and biomedical applications.
