NALA Builder

Project NALA empowers educators with a no-code platform to create customised generative AI chatbots. Using the NALA Builder, faculty can easily deploy course-specific assistants grounded in their own materials. These AI tools provide instant, context-aware support to students, answering queries and guiding understanding. By automating routine explanations, NALA frees instructors to focus on deeper teaching, mentorship, and student engagement, showcasing NTU’s innovation in AI-enhanced learning design.


Automated Feedback System for Computational Thinking Quizzes

This project develops an AI-assisted system that provides personalised, timely feedback on student quizzes for the Introduction to Computational Thinking module. By analysing scanned scripts through models trained on authentic lecturer feedback, the system generates contextual, relatable comments in the instructor’s tone. Students receive meaningful guidance while the material is fresh, promoting reflection and improvement. The approach enhances learning efficiency and engagement, exemplifying how AI can support large-scale formative assessment.




AI Role-Playing | InsPIRE, NTU

The InsPIRE AI Role-Playing platform enables users to practise real-world communication through speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and adaptive AI feedback. Learners engage in lifelike dialogues that mirror mentoring, counselling, or negotiation scenarios. Each session provides instant, personalised insights on tone and phrasing, helping users develop confidence and empathy. Designed as a safe bridge between theory and practice, it supports self-paced, reflective learning, with upcoming features like emotion recognition and adaptive scenario progression.



3D MAZE

3D MAZE introduces learners to logic, problem-solving, and computational thinking through creative maze design. With its drag-and-drop Maze Editor and intuitive Code Script Editor, users can build and experiment freely. Enhanced by MazeMate, a generative AI assistant, the platform offers adaptive hints and guidance tailored to each learner’s progress. Accessible to users of all ages, 3D MAZE blends play and programming to cultivate critical thinking and creativity in an immersive, interactive way.


VARTeL – Virtual and Augmented Reality Technology-enhanced Learning

VARTeL integrates Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Virtual Reality to create immersive, interactive learning environments for STEM education. It combines research on situational interest and self-efficacy with cutting-edge technology to enhance engagement and motivation. The system provides authentic simulations that connect theory with practice, fostering deeper conceptual understanding. Through VARTeL, NTU aims to advance educational innovation and prepare the next generation of STEM leaders equipped for AI-driven futures.


Interactive AI Game Booth | Digital Learning, LKCMedicine

Developed by the Digital Learning Team at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Murder Mystery is an interactive AI-powered game that invites players to investigate a fictitious scenario of a suspicious death at a countryside inn during a snowstorm. Players interrogate AI-driven suspects—each with hidden motives and unique instructions—to uncover both the killer and how artificial intelligence handles truth, secrecy and ethical pressure. The experience tests whether AI agents stay faithful to their directives, hallucinate, or leak information, offering an engaging glimpse into AI ethics and trust. Through such creative applications, Digital Learning demonstrates how technology can be fun and yet meaningfully integrated with authentic clinical and human experiences, transforming education into an engaging journey that deepens understanding and redefines how learning is delivered.

IntelliExo | NVIDIA
AI Advisor Panel, a modular pipeline that brings multiple personas to life with large language models, fusing prompt-engineered profiles, knowledge-graph facts, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation for authentic, context-rich dialogue.  ElevenLabs voice cloning then transforms their text into lifelike speech, creating an engaging multi-agent panel that can answer questions and guide users.

SynthDa | NVIDIA
SynthDa is a pose-level synthetic data augmentation framework that strengthens recognition of rare, safety-critical actions (e.g., falls) without photorealistic rendering. By interpolating between real and/or synthetic pose sequences (Real-Mix / Synthetic-Mix) and optimizing interpolation weights, AutoPose generates kinematically coherent, class-consistent samples, delivering per-class improvement across multiple rare action classes.
