Your Support Network
Meet the people who will accompany you throughout your university journey.
University is a journey you'll take alongside many others. Along the way, you'll meet faculty who will challenge the way you think, mentors who will share their experiences, professional staff who will help you navigate university life, and fellow students who may become lifelong friends.
You don't need to know everyone on your first day. As you settle into university life, you'll naturally discover the people, communities, and services that best support your journey.

The People Here for You
Your Academic Mentor will be one of your first points of contact within CCDS. They can help you navigate your academic journey, discuss your study plans, and point you towards the right resources when questions arise. By Week 3, you'll receive an email introducing your Academic Mentor and inviting you to an engagement session.
Your lecturers and tutors are more than subject experts. They are educators, researchers, and mentors who will encourage you to think critically, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of computing. Don't hesitate to approach them during consultations or after class.
From orientation and student life to wellbeing, leadership opportunities, and community programmes, the Student Affairs team helps create an environment where you can make the most of your university experience.
One of the best sources of advice often comes from students who were in your shoes not long ago. During TOP and throughout the semester, student leaders will help you settle into university life and share their own experiences of navigating the journey ahead.
It's never too early to start thinking about your future. Career Coaches work with students throughout their time at NTU, helping them explore career pathways, prepare for internships, develop professional skills, and connect with industry opportunities. Your dedicated CCDS career coaches are Caleb Chew and Gideon Koh.
Need help with student administration? Student One Stop is your first stop for many administrative matters, including student records, financial matters, and general enquiries.
The Undergraduate Office supports programme-specific academic matters, including curriculum enquiries, programme requirements, and other undergraduate administrative matters.
University life can be exciting, rewarding, and sometimes challenging. BEACON provides support for student wellbeing and connects students with the resources they need to thrive throughout their time at NTU.
One Community, Many People
Support Comes in Many Forms
As you progress through your university journey, you'll discover that support comes in many forms. Sometimes it's a lecturer who explains a difficult concept. Sometimes it's a mentor who shares their experience. Sometimes it's a classmate who becomes a project partner — or a lifelong friend.
The CCDS community is built on people who are passionate about learning, generous in sharing their knowledge, and committed to helping one another grow.
