The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (DSAI) at NTU is a jointly offered programme by the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) and the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS). This 4-year direct honours degree provides rigorous training in statistics, computing, and AI, preparing students to design innovative, data-driven solutions for society’s most pressing challenges. 

Open to students with strong foundations in Mathematics and Computing, the programme integrates: 

  • Artificial Intelligence – from problem formulation and reinforcement learning to robotics, NLP, and intelligent agents 

  • Data Science Fundamentals – data preparation, storage, modelling, analytics, and visualisation for real-world problem-solving 

  • Data Analytics & Mining – advanced computational methods for extracting insights and solving large-scale data challenges 

  • Applied Learning – hands-on projects, industry immersion, and exposure to ethics, policy, and responsible AI practices 

Through this blend of computing, statistics, and applied AI, graduates develop the skills to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets, build intelligent systems, and drive innovation across industries such as healthcare, business, finance, and environmental sustainability.
