Keynote Speaker and Guest of Honour
H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn
Secretary-General of ASEAN
Dr. Kao Kim Hourn previously served as a two-term Minister Delegate attached to the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia since September 2013.
Dr. Kao survived the Khmer Rouge genocide and moved to the United States at the age of 15. He returned to Cambodia in January 1993 to run a think-tank dedicated to ASEAN and international affairs and later joined the Royal Government of Cambodia where he had served, from August 2001 to August 2013, in a variety of capacities including a post as Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

With three decades of executive experience, Ms. Esther An is a globally recognised sustainability practitioner who cemented CDL’s position as a top-ranked real estate firm on the Global 100. An industry pioneer, she published Singapore’s first sustainability report in 2008 and issued its first corporate green bond in 2017. Her global impact has earned her recognition as a UN SDG Pioneer, a Reuters Trailblazing Woman, and a TIME100 Climate Leader. Ms. An shapes international ESG standards through prestigious board roles with the WorldGBC, TNFD, and GRI. Dedicated to climate advocacy, she founded the Women4Green and Youth4Climate networks to empower future climate action champions.
Professor, College of Business (Nanyang Business School)
Prof Jun Yang is the Dean of Nanyang Business School at NTU Singapore and holds the President’s Chair in Finance. An accomplished scholar in corporate finance, corporate governance, and FinTech, she concurrently serves as the Academic Director of the Financial Management Association. Prof Yang's impactful research on managerial behaviour and director independence has been published in premier academic journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, and featured in major outlets like The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg. Holding dual PhDs from Washington University in St. Louis and CUHK, alongside degrees from Tsinghua University, her award-winning work continues to shape global academic leadership.

Patrick Bolton is Professor of Finance at Imperial College London. He is a past President of the American Finance Association, a Fellow of the Econometric Society, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy. He has co-authored Contract Theory (2005) with Mathias Dewatripont and The Green Swan: Central Banking and Financial Stability in the Age of Climate Change (2020) with Morgan Despres, Luiz Pereira Da Silva, Frederic Samama, and Romain Svartzman.

Xin CHANG, Simba is a President’s Chair Professor in Finance at Nanyang Business School of Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He is also the Associate Dean (Research) at Nanyang Business School and the Director of the Centre for Sustainable Finance Innovation (CSFI) at NTU. Xin holds several senior editorial and professional service roles in the finance research community, including Associate Editor of Management Science, Board Member of the Asian Finance Association, and Fellow of the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research (ABFER). He specialises in corporate finance, especially capital structure, innovation, corporate social responsibility, mergers and acquisitions, and equity valuation.
Asian School of the Environment, NTU
Perrine is an Associate Professor at the Asian School of the Environment, Nanyang Technological University, and Principal Investigator at the Earth Observatory of Singapore. Her research group examines how nature can help us become more resilient and address major climate challenges, focusing on urban and corporate environments. In 2020, Perrine received the Singapore National Research Foundation Fellowship to support her action-oriented research programme in Southeast Asia. She has extensive experience working with environmental NGOs, multilateral banks, and the private sector and facilitating capacity-strengthening workshops. She holds a PhD from Monash University, Australia, and a Master from Ecole Centrale Nantes, France.
Head of Business Development, ASEAN
UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
Chee Leng is Head of Business Development for ASEAN at the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), with over 25 years of leadership experience across ASEAN and Europe, bridging institutional capital and sustainable growth. Previously as COO of a Nasdaq-listed firm, she led capital raising and crafted ESG-aligned equity narratives for institutional investors and family offices, and has spearheaded ESG integration into Private Equity fund strategies. Her earlier career includes senior roles at Accenture and OCBC Bank. She holds a First Class Honours in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
