Programme overview
ASEAN: Regional Resilience and Opportunities
Participants will explore ASEAN’s rise as a hub of trade, infrastructure, and innovation, and its pivotal role in harnessing regional opportunities during geopolitical shifts. Topics such as the RCEP, Indonesia’s futuristic capital, and the Johor-Singapore Economic Zone illustrate how ASEAN can drive sustainable growth and regional unity amid fragmentation.
ASEAN-Singapore (Technology): Innovation and Digital Economy Leadership
Singapore’s emergence as ASEAN’s innovation nucleus will be examined through lenses such as Web3, digital assets, and AI. Participants will learn how ASEAN can capitalise on decentralised technologies, harmonised digital trade rules, and cutting-edge innovations led by firms like DeepSeek, to unlock future growth in a digital-first economy.
ASEAN-China: Strategic Collaboration Amidst Rivalry
In-depth discussions will focus on ASEAN’s position in navigating great-power rivalries and its evolving relationship with China. The programme unpacks how ASEAN firms can build resilient, mutually beneficial partnerships with Chinese enterprises, addressing both opportunities and challenges through dynamic collaboration strategies.
