Hardship to heart work: 22-year-old’s journey of cultivating youth volunteerism
At the age of 22, Hannah Batrisyia has a unique perspective on spending weekends in Orchard. While most young people engage in activities like window shopping or brunch with friends, Hannah's purpose for going to Orchard is quite different. She actively participates in volunteer programs at The Red Box. Currently in her second year as a Sociology undergraduate at SSS@NTU, Hannah's academic focus revolves around understanding the impact of one's family on their life trajectory. This field of study has made her acutely aware of the importance of intervention and the significance of helping less fortunate children establish a solid foundation for their future.
Hannah Batrisyia holds a small hope in her heart - to rally her peers to join her cause.
