Valuing what matters

The GDP is a useful measure of economic production, but an imperfect measure of well-being in these uncertain times. One such example is the resilience of people. While jobs and incomes are certainly important, we must not lose sight of other things that matter, wrote director of NTU’s Economic Growth Centre and Albert Winsemius Chair Professor of Economics Euston Quah and NTU research scholar Christabelle Soh in a commentary.
