A panel discussion titled “The 20th China Congress Party and After” took place at the School of Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) on Monday, 14th November 2022. Facilitated by Professor Joseph Liow (Dean, College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences), the panelist comprising of Professor Tan Kong Yam (Economics) and Assistant Professor Dylan Loh (Public Policy and Global Affairs) from the School of Social Sciences, NTU, and Associate Professor Li Mingjiang (Provost’s Chair in International Relations at S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, NTU) exchanged their insights and views of the past, current and future of China, its economy and society. The panel session drew an interest of about 100 internal and public attendees. It lasted 1.5 hours including panelists’ presentations and an interactive question-and-answer with the audiences.
