​Scholar: Singapore’s fiscal revenue and expenditure is considered fairly balanced

Dr Bao Te, assistant professor of economics at NTU in Singapore, said out that compared with Western countries, Singapore’s budget deficit is relatively small. For instance, the United States’ budget deficit this year is expected to be equivalent to 10.3 per cent of its GDP.
