Chinese version of “This is What Inequality Looks Like” launched

A traditional Chinese version of the English book "This is What Inequality Looks Like", published by local sociologist Teo You Yenn in 2018, is launched by Taiwan Linking Publishing. 

Assoc Prof Teo You Yenn is the Head of Sociology at NTU. This book is based on her observations after interacting with the locals from the low-income households from 2013 to 2016. The original English book became a bestseller, and was even discussed in Parliament.

In its foreword, NTU sociology professor Prof Kwok Kian Woon said that the book is beautifully written to tell a not-so-beautiful subject.
