Admission for Phase 2 at NTU

NTU/NIE Master's Programmes

  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. This degree must be relevant to the applicant's chosen NTU Master's programme. For example, a basic degree in arts will not be suitable for a Master's Degree in the field of engineering. NTU will review applications without relevant bachelor degrees on a case-by-case basis.
  • A Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 or more for the combination of CE Master's courses completed in Phase 1 (subject to minimum of 2 main NTU accredited courses).
  • For admission to the NBS's M.B.A programme, a good  GMAT score (600 and above) is required.
  •  A good GMAT/ GRE score is required for M.Sc. (Business Analytics)* programme
*Graduates from a Singapore autonomous university with 2nd Upper Honours (Equivalence) or above may be granted exemption from GMAT/GRE on a case-by-case basis

 

How to Apply

Applications to the NTU's/NIE's Master's programmes are to be submitted electronically. Apply at:

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Arts (Instructional Design and Technology)
  • Master of Arts (Educational Management)
  • All other applications (M.Sc./MMC/MPA) - July/August Admission
  • All other applications (M.Sc./MMC) - *November/January Admission
    *(Applicable to the 55th CSC cohort only)

 

 

List of Supporting Documents

The following documents in soft copy must be submitted in the given order. Please send only clearly legible documents. Do not submit original documents. Original documents should be produced at a later date upon request. 

  1. A copy of the Application form submitted online in pdf format.
  2. Passport-size colour photograph (taken within the last 3 months in Hi-Resolution jpeg format). 
  3. NRIC /Passport or Citizenship Certificate.
  4. Degree Scroll/Certificates(s): must be in English, otherwise an official English Translation must also be provided.
  5. Transcript(s) of University academic records; must be in English, otherwise an official English translation must also be provided.
  6. Applicants are required to take the TOEFL or IELTS if English was not the medium of instructions used at the tertiary level. 
  7. Professional qualifications/memberships, if any.
  8. CSC/CSC(E)'s Certificate and Record of Courses/Transcript (both issued by SNA).
  9. SAF sponsorship letter.
  10. Receipt of Application fee. Payment for MBA, MAEM & MAIDT are via NBS's and NIE's application websites).

    Application Fee and Mode of Payment

    The application fee is S$50 per programme applied and S$100 for MBA programme. Please refer to the mode of payment and steps for online payment here. Payment for application for MBA and NIE’s programmes are via NBS's and NIE's application websites.

     Please note that applications without application fee will not be processed. 


    Submit Application and Supporting Documents

    If you have successfully completed the NTU/NIE Master’s programme online admission application, you need to send in the softcopy supporting documents* with the completed soft copy application form and receipt of application fee (to the address stated below) by the stipulated date.

    If you wish to apply for admission to more than one programme, please submit a separate application form for each programme.
