1. Is the GMAT or GRE qualification required?

GMAT and GRE are not required for admission into the programme.

 

2. What is the duration of the programme? Where are the classes held?
This is a full-time one-year programme, taught at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

 

3. What is the academic timeline?
The MSc TIP follows the University Trimester Calendar.

 

4. What kind of degree/qualifications will I be awarded after the completion of the programme? Is the degree internationally recognised?
Upon graduation, students will be awarded the Master of Science in Technopreneurship and Innovation Programme by Nanyang Technological University, which is internationally recognised. 

 

5. Can I apply for both MScTIP English and MScTIP Chinese programmes?
Yes, you can apply for both programmes. You will be given the option to apply up to 2 choices of programme in each application exercise.

 

6. I have applied for the wrong programme, can my application be amended?
No, you must submit a new application.
*Please note that fees for incorrect applications will not be refunded.

 

7. What is the admission process?
The Admission Committee will only process and assess complete applications. Shortlisted candidates will then be informed of an interview via email. A written test will be arranged if necessary. After passing the interview, the Admission Committee will submit the relevant application materials to the Office of Admission of Nanyang Technological University for final review and admission will based on merit. Admission notices will also be sent out in batches.

 

8. When does the programme starts?
The programme typically begins in late July or early August each year.

 

9. How does NTUpreneur assess students’ performance?

Assessment for this programme includes participation in class discussions, individual and group assignments, examinations or project reports.

 

10. If a non-local applicant has been accepted into the programme, do they need to apply for a visa by themselves?
NTU will assist with the relevant visa application.

 

11. Can foreign students work in Singapore after graduation?
Singapore is a multi-ethnic and cultural country that attracts talents from all over the world to contribute to local economic development. Graduates of MSc TIP can find suitable job opportunities in Singapore based on their personal abilities and career interests.
