Admission Requirements
- A good bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline of study from a recognised university or tertiary institution. A provisional degree certificate or a university letter stating the expected graduation date is required for applicants who have not yet completed their undergraduate studies. The original degree certificate must be provided for verification at the point of matriculation.
- Proficiency in English language. Standardised Test Scores: test scores for TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) must be submitted by all applicants except those with undergraduate degrees from universities where English is/was the medium of instruction. Test dates must be within two years or less from the date of your application.
In light of the post-Covid-19 pandemic, we have implemented revised requirements for admission test scores. It is important to note that we will exclusively accept the following online tests for admission. Additionally, these tests must have been taken no later than 31 December 2023. Test report reflecting date beyond 31 December 2023, will not be eligible to meet admission requirements.- TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition

- Waiver of submission for IELTS or TOEFL Score Reports. A university letter stating that English is/was the medium of instruction must be provided by all candidates whose undergraduate degrees were taught entirely in English but in a non-English speaking country.
- A strong passion in entrepreneurship.
- Work experience is preferred.

3. NTUpreneur-MSC TIP MERIT AWARD (UP TO SGD $5,000)
Candidates who are enrolled into the MSc TIP will be considered for merit award based on performance and achievements in the programme.
Note: A limited number of Study Grants are available, and selection is competitive and based on merit.

- Degree scroll(s) from each university attended; stamped and certified by the University registrar’s office,
- Graduation Certificate(s) from each university attended; stamped and certified by the University registrar’s office (applies to candidates who graduated from a Chinese University),
- Complete transcript(s) of academic records from each university attended; stamped and certified by the University registrar’s office (please include the credit and grading systems used by the university),
- Official English translation stamped and certified by the university is required for non-English degree scrolls, graduation certificates and academic transcripts,

- IELTS or TOEFL Score Reports (if your degree was not delivered in English). It must be taken within the last two years upon submission of your application.
- Professional membership certificate(s), if any.
- Documentary evidence of Immigration Pass (e.g. employment pass or dependent’s pass) issued by the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority). This applies only to foreign applicants, working or living in Singapore.

- Two referee’s reports. The referee reports should come from your superior, supervisor or professor who could comment on your academic/work capabilities and suitability for the programme. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview via email.
Admission interviews are expected to take place from mid-December onwards till June.
Offer of admission will be sent to successful candidates via email.
Please note that only successful candidates will be notified by email. All other applicants are advised to check the online application system for their application status. Information will not be released or confirmed via phone.
Only completed applications will be processed. An application is deemed complete only if the following are met within the stipulated registration deadline:
- Completion of online application form.
- Submission of all supporting documents.
- Payment of a non-refundable application fee of SGD $50.

This is a full-time one-year programme, taught at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Upon graduation, students will be awarded the Master of Science in Technopreneurship and Innovation Programme by Nanyang Technological University, which is internationally recognised.
Yes, you can apply for both programmes. However, a separate application must be submitted for each programme.

The Admission Committee will only process and assess complete applications. Shortlisted candidates will then be informed of an interview via email. A written test will be arranged if necessary. After passing the interview, the Admission Committee will submit the relevant application materials to the Office of Admission of Nanyang Technological University for final review and admission will based on merit. Admission notices will also be sent out in batches.
The programme typically begins in late July or early August each year.
Assessment for this programme includes participation in class discussions, individual and group assignments, examinations or project reports.
NTU will assist with the relevant visa application.
