Signing of NTU-WHO Joint Action Plan

A strategic three-year Joint Action Plan will be signed between NTU Singapore and the World Health Organisation (WHO), focusing on outcome-driven science and innovations in food safety and security. This includes:
1) New-generation risk assessment for food safety
2) Risk-benefit analysis of novel foods and its nutrition
3) AI applications in food safety and food security
This marks a key collaboration, bringing together cutting-edge science and technology with regulation to strengthen food safety and security in the context of emerging novel foods and the complexity of global food supply chains.
This event will be held in tandem with the Joint NTU-WHO Workshop on New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) in Future Food Safety Risk Assessment.
