​Winner of the 2018 Mitsui Chemicals-SNIC Industry Award in Materials and Nano-chemistry - Professor Chen Xiaodong

​We are pleased to share that Professor Chen Xiaodong has been awarded the 2018 Mitsui Chemicals-SNIC Industry Award in Materials and Nano-chemistry for “highly creative work in the development of mechano-materials for applications in energy storage, flexible devices and healthcare”. 
 
About the award
The Singapore National Institute of Chemistry (SNIC) launched the SNIC-Industry Awards in collaboration with 4 major corporations, i.e. Mitsui Chemicals, Shimadzu, Tokyo Chemical Industry and Xilong Scientific to recognise and reward outstanding individuals who have achieved research excellence in selected areas of chemistry and chemical sciences. The series of awards was relaunched to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of SNIC and reflects the significance of materials and chemistry to Singapore.
